Seminary about European Union for young europeans

On 7th of June, The seminary about European Union for young Europeans took place in rooms of Grammar School of J.B. Magin Vrbové. The seminary was held under the auspices of information center Europe Direct in Senica. The lecture was aimed at students of third year. Their task was to think of the questions what is the aim of EU, what is the reason and why it was founded, how does it function and what it has already done for its inhabitants.
Since we live in EU, we naturally have many questions about the essence of Europe and what are the advantages and disadvantages of life here. The lecturers explained students the main aims of EU, who is in charge of it and what does union mean for our everyday life. Lectures were very interesting, students had many questions mainly in connection with the future development of Union and our position in its structures.
The future of Euro was also a stimulating topic. In the end, students got brohures in order to read, discuss and get more knowledge about these questions during lessons.
